The Tropical Biomass Research and Development Center of University of Lampung, in collaboration with Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia) and University of Borås (Sweden), are jointly organizing the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Biomass (ICSB) 2019 to be held on 15 – 17 October 2019 at the Emersia Hotel and Resort, Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. ICSB is a biennial conference that started in 2019. In this inaugural event, the ICSB is focused on “Bioenergy for Rural Development” as the theme of the conference. The 1st ICSB purposes primarily on providing a forum for local, national and international stakeholders for sharing and highlighting original and novel ideas, state of the art, current status and future chalenges on advances in sciences, engineering and technology that addresses on biomass to energy innovations and production.

The International Conference on Sustainable Biomass (ICSB 2019) will take place at Emersia Hotel & Resort, a 4-star hotel at the city of Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. Emersia Hotel & Resort is an urban resort in downtown Lampung. It is one of the perfect places to meet in Lampung which is located 50 minutes away from Radin Inten II International airport. It has emerged as a representative hotel in Lampung, designed as an official hotel for many international conferences and exhibitions.
